L-O FFA Week 2021 Schedule of Events (Feb. 22-26)
Monday, Feb. 22nd = Kick-Off Day
- PJ Day – come to school in your comfy clothes, etc!
**“FFA – Find Your Edge” – kids/staff who dress up get a cheese stick at lunch
2. FFA Trivia – read during announcements each day – tell Mrs. Timm the right answer after end of 2nd hour bell
3. Faculty Judging Contest – check your mailboxes for information
4. Start of medallion hunt – more details to come – listen to announcements & prize wheel during lunch
Tuesday, Feb. 23rd = Community Day
1. School Spirit Day – bring out and enjoy wearing your favorite L-O school apparel!
**“FFA – Find Your Edge” – kids/staff who dress up get a fruit roll-up at lunch
2. FFA Trivia – read during announcements each day – tell Mrs. Timm the right answer after end of 2nd hour bell
3. Faculty Judging Contest – check your mailboxes for information
4. Continue medallion hunt – more details to come – listen to announcements
- Faculty/Administration/Support Staff Appreciation Gifts put in mailboxes/handed out to during the day. This is a way for FFA to say thanks for all the help and cooperation throughout the school year.
Wednesday, Feb. 24th = American Agriculture Day
1. Flannel Day – enjoy a day show off your flannel clothes!
** “FFA Has Fun for Everyone” – kids/staff who dress up get a yogurt stick at lunch
~~~~FFA Snow Tubing Trip for grades 7-12 to Ironwood Springs near Stewartville (11am-3pm)~~~~
Thursday, Feb. 25th = Fun, Farming & Staff Appreciation Day
- Hawaiian Day (show off your trendy leis, grass skirts and more
**“FFA – It’s Different” – kids/staff who dress up get a fruit snack at lunch
- School Transportation Drivers Thank You Event
- Bring your FFA Jacket to Work Day (at school & around community) – show off that you were part of the nation’s premier youth leadership and agricultural organization.
- FFA 2nd hour announcements trivia contest & prize wheel at lunch
5. Faculty Judging Contest Cards due to Mrs. Timm by 3pm today!!!!
Friday, Feb. 26th = FFA Pride Day
- Blue & Yellow/FFA t-shirt Day = cover yourself in FFA pride from head to toe - bring out an old shirt or buy an extra from Mrs. Timm and wear it with pride today!
** “FFA – What’s Your Flavor?” - kids/staff who dress up get a special treat at lunch
2. FFA 2nd hour announcements trivia contest & prize wheel at lunch
NO PEP FEST IN 2021 DUE TO COVID – will return in 2022!!
