  • "Book Walk" Thursday, September 23, 2021

Starting at the Trailhead, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., parents and kids will walk along the trail and read a book, one page at a time, as they walk down the trail. When that book is done, you can walk back and you'll find another book that you can read on the way back. When you get back to the Trailhead, you can enjoy a light dinner of sloppy joes, macaroni & cheese, fruit and a cookie. Before you leave, children birth to 5 years old get to choose two books to take home. Siblings & grandparents are welcome to attend. Registration is not required but the food could run out! This is a FREE event for families with children birth to 5 years old. This will not be a long walk but feel free to bring a wagon or stroller for younger children.
