March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’s Birthday! L-O Elementary will be celebrating his birthday along with National Read Across America Week Feb. 28th – March 4th. Many of Dr. Seuss’s characters are weird, crazy, and just plain silly. Each day during this week students will be allowed to wear something weird, crazy, and just plain silly too. Please take time during this week to share/read with your child(ren) your favorite Dr. Seuss book.
Monday 2/28 – I Am Not Going to Get Up Today – PJ Day
Tuesday 3/1 – 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish – Wear Red & Blue
Wednesday 3/2 – Wacky Wednesday - mix and match your clothes to create a crazy outfit, include a crazy hair do too.
Thursday 3/3 – If I Ran the Zoo – Wear animal print, animal shirts, animal costume
Friday 3/4 – Cat in the Hat Day – Wear your favorite hat.
