Staff Spotlight: Kari Olson

Kari Olson is our next LeRoy-Ostrander Staff to 'spotlight'!  L-O is very lucky to have alumni Mrs. Olson as
our math and computer technology teacher.  And she is our Student Council Advisor.  Mrs. Olson has her bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Northern Iowa, with a minor in Computer Science.  She also attended Winona State University to receive her keyboarding and computer technology degree.  Currently, she is taking college courses to fulfill her master's degree in mathematics.   She loves to read the Harry Potter series, watches all the Marvel movies, eats chocolate-covered gummy bears, and plays any kind of game! Mrs. Olson loves spending time with her awesome family: Dayne (husband; a graduate of L-O),  Kaylee (daughter, nurse in Rochester, MN), Riley (son, college junior at UW-River Falls, majoring in business), and Tanner (son, freshman football player a Minnesota State-Mankato).  When asked why she loves L-O Schools, she replied, "I grew up in LeRoy, so my favorite thing is just knowing the history of our school and what a rich heritage we have here.  I also love the great things happening at L-O now for our students.  We may be small, but we are mighty and offer amazing opportunities to our students."

Thank you, Mrs. Kari Olson!  You are an instrumental part of our school district!
