Hello. Thank you for visiting this webpage for further information. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to teach middle and high school students in the CARDS program. This will be my third year teaching at LeRoy-Ostrander. In June of 2020, I completed my M.S. in Special Education from St. Mary's University of Minnesota (to go along with my other degrees from the University of Michigan, National-Louis University, and St. Catherine University -- just keep learning!!).
When I am not spending time at school or working on something school related, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have four young adult children, some of whom still live at home. My mother also lives with us. We now have three cats (Momo, Ruby, and Blue); our corn snake, Lucy; Appa our four year old corgi and we've just welcomed a corgi puppy named Evie (or Eevee -- still working on spelling) who is Appa's half sister. I still enjoy playing scrabble, cooking, listening to music, and reading (audio books in the car are great!). I've also learned to crochet and I have several projects I'm enjoying (I love the colors). One of my goals is to learning to crochet cotton yarn octopuses that I can donate to the "Octopus for Preemies" project. I'm also still a weather and space nerd. Once in a while, you might catch me talking about or watching sports - though I'm not passionate about any team in particular (except, maybe, the Michigan Wolverines) but on a given day, I might be depending on the opponent.
If you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me. Email is best - I check it several times a day and in the evening.
