Hello.  Thank you for visiting this webpage for further information.  It is my privilege to be teaching our students in the Middle/High School CARDS program.  I love being part of the team at LeRoy-Ostrander.  I am also part of the special education Leadership Team for the Southern Minnesota Education Consortium. One of my responsibilities is training and supporting new special education teachers.

When I am not spending time at school or working on something school related, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have four young adult children, some of whom still live at home.  My mother also lives with us.  We have three cats (Momo, Ruby, and Blue); our corn snake, Lucy; and our crazy corgis Appa and Evie.  I enjoy playing scrabble, cooking, listening to music, and reading (audiobooks in the car are amazing and I drive a lot!).  Crochet has become a passion and I'm always working on some colorful project.  If I hadn't chosen to become a teacher I would like to have been a meteorologist.  Weather is incredibly interesting and I like space as well.  Someday I'd like to get a telescope to explore the heavens!

If you ever have questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me.  Email is best - I check it several times a day and in the evening.
