My name is Cathie Dudley.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my webpage!

I have been with the LeRoy-Ostrander school district since the fall of 2017. I am looking forward to exploring and learning new things with this year's group of kids! I have taught in the Lyle and Albert Lea school districts, in 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades. In 2022 I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in STEM, teaching five math classes. In June of 2025, I stepped it back a bit and partially retired. Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, I will be teaching only three classes, 7th grade Pre-Algebra, 8th grade Algebra I, and 9th grade Algebra II. I have also accepted a part-time position in the business office for the district, handling the accounts payable. I continue my position as the District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) as well, overseeing all MCA and ACT testing for the district.

I have one daughter, Calen, who currently works in a law firm with offices in Mason City and Clear Lake, Iowa. My son-in-law, Carlos, is a professor of Communications at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa. In February of 2023, granddaughter Luisa Alejandra was born and added a whole new dimension to our lives! My son, Joe, is a genetic biologist with Northwestern University in Chicago.  I am an avid Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Loons (Minnesota United Football Club) fan! I love watching sports on TV and in person when I can. I enjoy attending high school sporting and arts events, and look forward to seeing my kids in action this year.
